Folks, I haven't used Expression Blend 4 for perhaps a year or so, but I
have to make a flat Silverlight button so I fired it up and discovered it
won't open Visual Studio 2012 solutions. It also doesn't support
Silverlight 5.I immediately suspected that I was in need of the Expression
Suite 5, but I've never received a copy or offer for that. The Expression
home page says that V4 is now defunct and there is no V5. I have to
download "Blend for VS2012" which is in *preview*! Something's gone really
out-of-whack here! There seems to be a gap during which no official copy of
Blend is available, so what did designers do in that time? Now I've got to
figure out how to create a custom Button style the hard way, whatever that
is. Not only does everything not work, you can't even get to a point were
things won't work -- Greg
