Folks, months ago I mentioned my issue with VS2013 forgetting all previously open documents whenever I close it with a XAML document open. Web searches reveal other people suffer from this forgotten layout problem, but none mention XAML. All their suggestions are ineffective.
This problem has returned with a vengeance in the recent weeks. A dozen times now I have reset all settings and the problem goes away. I then slowly restore my favourite settings and later in the day the problem returns. I have ruled out many causes and by vague instinct I'm left with this primary one: Can it be caused by running VS2013 as Admin or User at various times during the day and changing settings under different accounts? Has anyone heard of this, or think it's feasible? Perhaps some files or registry settings aren't accessible to both accounts. Sadly it would take hours of delicate research to evaluate this hypothesis. *Greg K*
