Yes, that's what you want. The EWS Managed API library is quite good
to work with, although I mainly just played with the mail and admin
side of things.

If you need Exchange 2003 compatibility (or with Exchange 2007 servers
that have EWS disabled for whatever reason), you'll need to dive into
the murky world of WebDAV, or MAPI in the worst case.
