I'm always hesitant when I see email lists move to anything that looks like a 
forum. That seems to be where discussions are organised but where they go to 
die.

I still read occasionally, if only to see what Greg K is trying to tame next ;)

Looking through my emails, I joined Stanski's list in 2002 (15 years!? 
eeep!) and moved across when the sever was in death-throes and Connors stepped 
up. I see a few people still posting from when I started, which is a decent 
track record given the period of time.

I'm hesitant in changing anything, just because I likely wouldn't log into a 
website or whatever else to view the content, and I suspect that old habits die 
hard for many others.
