We're HFC. The drop outs have occurred since day 1 of having the NBN
installed and the frequency hasn't changed, so that suggests it not
something slowly degrading but something buggered up the whole time.

The PRTG monitor is working well and accumulating a history of drop-outs.
It's an impressive product and it's monstrous overkill for a single
1-minute interval pinger, but I'll let it run for a few weeks to get enough
stats to give to Telstra.
