Dear Marina I love your strength of language and your insight for women. We know we have a unique model of care that is woman led. I difficulty is that not all women feel as strong and articulate as you, so they often unknowingly or even willingly hand over to others to make decisions for them. The population with this type of pregnancy and birth strength is much smaller. Family and friends coerce fear, the majority medical professionals thrive on this fear and perpetuate their stance knowing that women are frightened and that often their partners don't have the strength or knowledge to back them up. Relax, because the journey will take us where we need to be, we can't fight everyone's battle.
