Thank you to all who have supported  our  team crisis at john Hunter. 
We have sadly learned that the effect is spreading, with other organisations now 
arguing that team midwifery is "too expensive" and one area has put plans on "hold" 
using John Hunter as an example..

Please let me reassure you that the John Hunter Team has not been targeted due to its 
inability to work effectively or efficiently. It was simply that the wages & salary of 
the team fitted almost exactly with the size of the budget shortfall - a convenience 
sample, so to speak.

AT NO TIME HAS MANAGEMENT EVEN HINTED THAT THIS WAS NOT AN EXCELLENT MODEL OF CARE. 
Mrs Saxton, Nursing Director of O&G @ JHH is adamant that the team will be back  ASAP, 
and that we will have MORE teams. Even the Area CEO has publically affirmed that the 
TEAM will return.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE JOHN HUNTER TEAM, OR TEAMS IN GENERAL, THERE IS A HUGE 
PROBLEM WITH THE MYOPTIC  BEAN COUNTERS !
