Not sure why some of my messages are coming back as an attachment. Some seem to get through no problems and others come from the postmaster as nondeliverable in an attachment form. Hi again Marina I am out here doing these things, not so easy to get medicare rebate, not sure that I want this type of rebate anyway. That would mean more control and restrictions to our practice and care with women. It sure is a tricky situation. I have been suggesting women to claim my fees on their tax. I think a significant shortage of midwives would encourage the institutions to replace midwives with registered nurses, enrolled nurses and childcare nurses. Not convinced that the government or bureaucracy administrators would be to fussed about who provided the care for women in the institutions. Already this type of organisation is happening in some places. Yes I agree that midwives need to be stronger and take the challenges but a lot of them are happy doing what they are doing. Those who want to change get swallowed up by the power of the organisation, the medical profession and their own colleagues who are happy in the system, taking home a wage and not making a noise.
