Dear List,

I sit here in Trish David's office in Hobart and am once again overwhelmed
by the support the new executive of the ACMI has received. Thankyou.

We shall be meeting today, to meet the new members of the executive and to
set the agenda for the coming months.

We shall keep you posted as we endeavour to lead our college into the new
millenium. Help us achieve our goals, and let us know both good and bad.

Congratulations to the Tasmanian Branch for such a wonderful and inspiring
conference. Brisbane 2001 has a lot to live up to.

I shall be having a week off before I commence my new position at Werribee
Mercy Hospital. Take care and we shall be speaking to you soon.

Cheers

Vanessa OWEN.

What a wonderful feeling!!!!

Congratulations to Vanessa and the new executive committee who will keep
the ball rolling and do us proud I am sure.

Thanks to everyone for all their support over the last two years.

Caroline Weaver.

Dear All
It's with a combination of sadness and exhillaration that I look forward to
the next two years as ACMIs new vice president. I am sad to farewell such
good friends in Ann Grieve, Chin Wong, Betty Clarke and Carolyn Weaver.
They will be missed for their good humour and contributions, experience and
intelligence, but they will not get off without further work. We know
where they live! Trish Schnieder isn't here today, but she will be a
fantastic secretary, and Moyra Lewis will round out the management team as
interim treasurer (Hopefully we can pursuade her to stay on in this
capacity). The exhillaration is for a fantastic conference, for the utter
joy of meeting so many strangers, who instantly became friends as I
realised they were cyberpals, and for the warmth and cameraderie and hope
for the future that we all experienced at the conference. I look forward
to Brisbane to actually get to hear some of the sessions!

Love to all, and here's to the future, Trish David.

Dear all,
What a week of meetings, presentations and socialising but I especially
enjoyed meeting so many I have read, heard of and emailed, sharing in the
events of our profession.
Now I feel so much more enabled to attempt to continue with the business of
our ollege and profession.
Thank you all for your input and I look forward to more when I am
reconnected back in the west week after next.
Safe and happy journeys to all
Denise Hynd
