Hi there Sydney folks,
you'll be having your hearing the day before us in Brisbane. Could you
please please please fill us in on Tuesday night so we can pick up the
pieces...
Have heard of and will dig up that research into female obss birth choices
(80% elective ceas) and will follow that up at our hearing - would not miss
an opportunity to point out specialist fear paradigm. Thanks Melb midwives
for that feedback.
Off to Byron tomorrow. exciting times are afoot...

dear Joy
many thanks for this briefing. I am going to represent AMAP on the 14th Sept
in Sydney. I need some feedback on two points.
* Does anybody have the latest reference for the spending on ultrasound
technology as part of the maternity budget? I have several references
but
I want to be absolutely sure.......they all look so unbelievably high!
* what constitutes 'early discharge' in the majority of practices? I
have
conflicting definitions to hand. And when is a woman eligible for
visits
by a community midwife, after discharge from hospital?
Many thanks in anticipation
sally
