I feel that we all need to act on this beleif as Raelene put it that

by writing letters to the papers and the polies of this and the need for
action to stop the reversal of the trend toward midwifery care to do
otherwise is to allow it to gather momentum.
All the midwifery groups and groups which midwives belong (including the ANF
etc), maternity support groups need ALSO to be mobilised in this endeavour.
