Dear Tina, thankyou for making this available to us to read. I also feel very excited that student and consumer members will be allowed, if the changes to the constitution are approved. I am not familiar with reading such documents , however I did feel concerned to read that in section 5e it said that you could lose your membership if your branch folded having not paid its capitation fees. Does this mean that it is the responsibility of each member to check that such fees are paid by their branch? I'm sure it wouldn't ever happen - I was just wondering. Have you heard whether consumers or students are going to be able to attend the conference in Brisbane at discount rates? I would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANKYOU for all your hard work on behalf of the student collective.
