We are not waisting any more time on Guild.
All available insurers have been approached to no avail.
The College is trying to firm up a deal which will provide some sort
of cover for all members.
Alana Street plus our State Executive will be present at the Sydney meeting.
(any other listers who will be in Sydney next Friday are most welcome
to attend .. contact Virginia Miltrup <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> to
RSVP.
Health financing is a State issue and we hope to have a promise of
support from our State Minister for Health be the end of this month.
This will surely flow on as the other states work on obtaining PI
support from their Dept of Health's treasury.
If we fail to gain Ministerial support at state level then the
meeting in Brisbane sounds like a good idea. It would probably be a
good idea for all IPMs to meet anyway and discuss restructuring of
the Accreditation Program with the Registrar, Vicki Wilde-Shooter.
Will inform the list of all strategies developing from the meeting.
