A pollie once told me, during a meeting, that bulk emails, all about the
same subject, are just deleted. I was being advised on how to write to a
politician to get their notice, and was told not to bombard them with
emails,  especially with the same subject title. I'm sure you all know this,
though. 

There's also that stigma attached to a signed document. It's a little harder
to ignore. So any really 'important' politicians that you are lobbying
should receive hard copies of your letters. Take care,
