Effective Care only talks about ELECTIVE caesar versus vaginal birth for
twins. I understood the issue was one of whether planned vaginal birth of
twins should take place in labour ward or theatre - with the latter being
recommended to prevent any delay should a ceasar become necessary.
A discussion of twins can be read at the Canadian O&G Society website.
Clearly many of the recommmendations are "expert opinion", but this is
necessary as there are few RCT's on many of the issues. The document does
have an enormous bibliography.

Dear David,

Can you please explain further your statement that the Guide to Effective
Care statement and other research you stated below are not relevant to this
argument?

Kind regards,
Toni
