Brilliant letter Justine - too bad about the editing.   Barb -  I fully agree with you, I understand how it works and tho' it may appear that I'm bull headed and want to have demands met now - I know that change takes time.  (Pity!! I really want it tomorrow) When I return to the Land of Oz, one of my plans is to spread the word, quietly, consistently, inoffensively and knowledgeably and garner support as I go. (I'm shocked at myself when I think of all the years just going along with the status quo)   Listers,  urgently required............... where I can find information on pethidine. In the 'old days', we always believed that it truly dilated the cervix.   I have to know studies that prove or disprove this theory.
