re use of cabergoline for suppression of
lactation. I believe it works like bromocriptine but doesn't have the same
nasty side effects and is given weekly. A woman I know was prescribed it
in melbourne, had one dose (oral I think) and was taking another a week
later. I hazard a guess that once it wears off the prolactin levels will
rise again as long as there is adequate breast stimulation. Remember that women
can relactate weeks/months after weaning.
