Yes, Kirsten, and when the woman comes into the hospital to give birth, the staff become drug pushers and offer women (and of course, their babies) as many drugs as she wants, and sometimes doesn't want! The double standards that apply and fuzzy logic is astounding, especially in the US. The pity is that many of their ideas are adopted in other countries without any critical questioning. I have often thought that the American way of birth has little to teach us....
