Dear all
I acnnot see that any one can LEGISLATE about how, through what medium - any
professional can give advice??
I suspect some hospital or board some where has recommended caution or a
hospital has said their staff are not to give advice over the phone.
Personally and prfessionally the whole approach to advice needs tidying up
in that too often most of what is said whether in person or via some media
is opinion, hospital dogma, protocol or practice!
NOT based on research or grounded in the concept of informed consent ie all
sides offered with suport of the consumer making their own decision about
how to act!!

Denise
