I raved on recently about a c/s in public hospital
were mother and babe were never seperated it was premature praise that very
night the mw on nights said you'll never recover with your baby on top of you
and took the baby from a very tired mum within the hr she returned to say they
were unable to settle the baby could they give the baby some s26
now this mother had no idea that was formula
she was 1/2 asleep and said is that usual practise? The mw replied that often
big babies are straving and until the milk comes in then s26 is a good idea the
new mother still hadn't twigged she asked what is s26 how do u give it to my
---- and then it twigged and she refused s26 it can happen soo easily day 2 it
was offered because the baby had only had 1 wee ! now its day3 and again last
night it happened this time because the baby didn't keep down the ebm so can we
give it s26 so Barb and others yes it can and does happen
