I think the left-handed thing is just showing that there has been some
external force working on the brain. The study reported that statistically
these guys who had heaps of U/Ss were more likely to be left handed, far
above the average rates for lefthandeders occurring naturally.
I don't think they are saying that on its own it is a sign of brain damage
but rather is an indication that something extraordinary has happened.
Left handers unite!
