Dear Toni and Andrea, Firstly, Toni ! Of course you may use this story. I found this story just beautiful. My grandmother just never seems to realise how much she amazes me. She thinks that it is a shame that ALL babies now have to be born in hospital and that new mums "these days" can't experience having a baby at home!!!
Andrea, Thank you for your inspiring words. I am unsure as to whether I can spend some extra hours with an Independent Midwife as part of my course (part of my unpaid hours etc). This is something that I will follow up in the new Year. However, if not, I may try to spend some time with these inspiring people after I have completed my course.
