Jackie and all,
I also saw the article in
Woman's Day about Dee Smart's birth. It was so refreshing not to hear a story
published about horrible childbirth.
Christina.
Well young Harrison is going great guns. He feeds, sleeps
(in someone's arms or bed) pees and poops. He is a week old and looks great.
Mary-Ellen went home when he was 2 days old and has been cared for by
Michael and my Mum went and stayed with them. Of course I have been up there
when not at work. I have come back to earth a bit. Thank you to all of those
people who responded to my email. I forgot to say that mary-Ellen didn't
have any stitches either, something she was awfully proud and grateful as
well she should be as she listened to her body so well.
Did anyone see the article in the Woman's Day about Dee
Smart and the birth of her daughter, Charlie? It was such a nice story about
childbirth. She had her baby in the Sydney Women's Hospital birth centre and
then went on to explain how they rested and shut the door except to
grandparents for 2 weeks after they went home on day 2.
Wishing you all a geart year and my thoughts are with all
of those people whose lives have been affected by those
bushfires.
Jackie
