Yes, Jayne -it is amazing. We tend to live in a
cocooned space with like minded voices around us -that is great for our own
support but there are lots of things that women seem to be doing through a lack
of trust in their bodies, their babies and their own wisdom and looking at some
of these mainsteam forums brings home just how comon it all is:
they dont believe they are really pregnant unless
they see it on the 'telly' they dont believe their bodies can carry or birth
their babies without more 'help' and then they also hand over the care of their
babies to 'men in suits' because they lack basic confidence that results
from having this trust validated.
Sad stuff.
