Hello Everyone! I've just joined up to the list, and though that a brief introduction would be in order.
My name is Brenda Kittelty, I live in Melbourne and I work as a Childbirth Educator at the Royal Women's Hospital. Unlike many people who work in Childbirth Ed., I came to the field not through midwifery but rather as a mother and hospital volunteer. I have three children, Evan who is 7, and my twins, Owen & Freya who are almost 5 and are starting school in 4 days time! Eek!!! Because I am a mother of multiples, my special interest lies in facilitating classes for expectant parents of multiples. I love this particular area of my work. I am also a Breastfeeding Counsellor with Australian Breastfeeding Association (formerly Nursing Mothers') and gain a great deal of satisfaction from the work I do with them. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute something of interest and value to this listing from time to time, and I certainly look forward to reading the collected wisdom from all of you.
