I spoke to a former independent midwife from NSW who thinks that the bachelor degree will undermine midwives. Does anyone know why she would think that?

no I don't know......perhaps you could ask her to qualify what is was that she exactly meant by it. I for one would be very interested in what she had to say. I think its really good to talk about such things and the fears, perceptions etc.. etc.... that people have with regards to the B Mid.
