Dear Listers,
It's me from Abu Dhabi and I've been back in
Australia since October, and after a month trip to Darwin, returned in mid
January to find agency work in short supply. Sad. However, I am now with the RWH bank and look forward to some
work there in their delivery suites and the family birth
centre.
The computer's hard drive suffered some trauma in
transit and has only recently been fixed to enable me to be on line
again. At last!!
It's great to be with my daughter and grandson but
not so great to be within the 'health system' - in fact, its quite
depressing and I fear that I've lost heart - just today I thought of
'emigrating' to New Zealand.
I also think of aromatherapy, tram-driving or
pub-work!!!
Something, anything to escape the
system!!
I did want to teach - midwives/ med students - and
am conditionally enrolled at Melbourne Uni in the grad dip in training &
development but can't find the workplace training/education role
required. (even as a volunteer!!) However, I have a few
days left to find something.
Is there anyone in Melbourne able to offer me a
supervised role in education/training?????
Its for about 2 hours/week for 12 weeks in the
second semester (I have credit for the first semester)
