Hiya Sue,

I'm a BMid student @ VU. We haven't done any clnical
placements yet, but the uni's told us that we need Hep
B vaccinations because the agency we may be doing our
placement through may require us to have it.

So it sounds like the uni doesn't care whether we do
or don't, but we need to do placements to progess in
the course & if no agency will take us on w/o the
vaccine, that's a problem. Does that make sense? Any
other BMid students out there- if you've understood
this differently than I have, please clarify.

Though I've read research on the risks of vaccines &
appreciate that they're being questioned, I've
personally never had any problems w/ vaccines & will
receive the recommended ones for myself.

Jen.
