I have only seen a tiny bit of information about Michael odent's
thoughts about the hormonal effects of oxytocin on the mother... 'the
love hormone'. Have other people read, heard, thought about this?

I have heard Michel speak a couple of times, and yes, he does refer to it as the "love" hormone.  In particular the fact that oxytocin is produced naturallly during labour (and, of course during breastfeeding) and that it has a naturally ocurring calming "loving" effect.  Breastfeeding used to make me very sopoforic.  Another time that oxytocin is naturally produced, of course, during female orgasm !!
