I've also heard it said that the vast amounts of hormones administered can lead to breastfeeding problems, as the body stops responding to these small amouts of hormone while b/f as it is used to the large amounts from birth.

Last night I watched a video 'women with midwives' and a couple of African midwives said that they do not have post natal depression issues like we do. Could this be another oxytocin/hormonal link?
