I have to share this I was at a birth a c/s all was
great the baby was skin to skin on mother the woman went to encourage her baby
at the breast BUT the paed a kind man who had been very cooperative explained
patiently that if the babe sucked the breast the uterus would contract and the
surgeon who was sewing it up would be battling with a moving target and we
wouldn't want that !!!!!!
How condescending the fact that an IV with 30 units
of synto in was running was alright.
I am about to write to the gentleman and tell him
what a load of codswallop he sprouted.
Once that breast and uterus collaborate its war.
