I need to chat to some one who works in a scn with well fattening up premmies feel free to e-mail me direct. My client was born at 31 weeks and weighed 1780 he is 4 weeks old and weighs 2.5 kg he is always asleep and stuffed with 50mls EBM 3hrly it is very difficult despite skin to skin etc to catch him in the mood to b/f . HE'S PARENTS WANT TO TAKE HIM HOME THE SCN STAFF ARE NON COMMUNITIVE EXCEPT TO SAY IF HE WAS HAVING HIS ebm VIA A BOTTLE HE WOULD BE ABLE TO go home sooner this is not my area of expertise what can the parents do to get their baby home .  the mother is a confident b/f multi who feeLs she could manage to b/f if the baby wasn't so full all the time He has b/f daily for the last 4 days but the staff insist on a follow up gavage and he vomits large amounts . help jan
