Hi all I recently posted an article on the loss of indemnity ins for agency midwives in SA, well today's paper has confirmed that insurance was picked up. A snippet of the article is below.
" The state's leading nursing agency, NASANSB, has renegotiated indemnity insurance for its 170 midwives, managing director Lyn Hepburn-Brown said yesterday. However, the cover was "five times" the cost of previous cover, she said. The cover was obtained with a Lloyds of London-based company, Medical Professional Liability, at an an undisclosed sum.
