I have seen Naomi Wolf interviewed on numerous tv shows and I believe what she said made a lot of sense.
I've read this book and really enjoyed it. I feel anybody pregnant or planning to have a baby should read it. I do remember disgreeing with something Naomi wrote about but it was so long ago now I read that book that I can't remember what it was. I have suggested that several of my friends read it and they subsequently went into labour determined to have the kind of birth they had in mind, despite one of the midwives providing them with paternalistic information. Both couples had exactly the birth they wanted.
