ACU has placed an advertisement in Birth Matters asking pregnant women (in Vic) to consider participating in the Community Follow Through Journey.  They also and have made a very nice brochure inviting women to contact the coordinator Betty McGuinness 03 5336 5397.

Btw I think its OK to be gender specific in midwifery.  I never think of a pregnant person shes always a woman.

Subject: anyone out there!

Hello All!

As many of you know I am doing the 3yr Bmid at Flinders in Adelaide, as we now have insurance we are allowed to start following women through there pregnancy. However, I have a problem,

I cant find any pregnant people!!!

The uni has/is advertising for ladies and Im sure I will be able to find one or two through there, however what better place to ask than ozmid! I have asked some pregnant people that I  know personally and they have asked have declined. So I thought Id just put a call out!

It involves the student attending 3 ante and 3 post natal visits as well as observing the birth.

Thanks!

Jessica.
