A lister recently asked about the effects of benzene. My brother in NZ is a campaigner against high levels of benzene and gave me these links. Hopethey have the info you want.   http://www.moh.govt.nz/moh.nsf Use the search link to take you to the search page and then click on the Search the Minstry of Health link. If you type in benzene, youwill come up with four documents and the second one is probably the one you want.   Alternatively, go to the Ministry for the Environment web site and look for info on air quality. http://www.mfe.govt.nz    Cheers, Julia M.
