Dear Rochelle,
Tell her to keep doing what she's doing and enjoy it!
And do her a big favour and buy her a copy of Australian Breastfeeding
Association's Booklet "Breastfeeding through pregnancy and Beyond." It's a
fabulous resource. ABA's website is www.breastfeeding.asn.au
On their Discussion boards she will probably be able to talk
to women doing the same.
Me? My boys are 2 yrs apart to the day. Zac kept
feeing right through Daniel's pregnancy and beyond, weaning when he was 4yrs and
2 mnths. Daniel weaned himself not long after when he was
2.5yrs.
The milk will go through a colostral phase when the new baby
is born. Nature takes care of the new baby. Toddler will go along
for the ride (or not) Nothing better than an eager toddler for fixing up
engorgement
