Dear Joy, Sooo glad to hear the good news of your little one. I have to admit that I caved into the pressure which was in my own head and asked my daughter to have a CTG on Friday. She was very gracious in complying. The CTG was very reactive and the u/s showed plenty of amniotic fluid, however she still got the talk about "dead babies and the baby being too big, so probably having to have a c/s". We prayed about it and I did a VE. Couldn't reach the cervix! 24hrs before birthing. She labour and births so beautifully, I was so moved and proud of her. The background wasn't helpful.. a sick 21mth old wanting her daddy and a friend in the study fixing the computer. Susanjane and I gave her Reiki and prayed silently together. My daughter says that she called on God and Mother Mary to help her through it. She thinks it is that inner spiritual reserve which helps her through her births. Gabriel is her third baby and only son so there is much rejoicing at his safe birth. Love Mary M.
