Hi Jo, I think the timing of return to menses may have been coincidental. Many exclusively breastfed babies appear to be 'sliding' down the percentiles if older growth charts are used. These growth charts were constructed using a small group of mainly formula fed babies with solids introduced at 4months, so exclusively breastfed babies don't meet these artificially high growth curves. There are new growth charts available for breastfed babies (I think from W.H.O) which are a better way to plot BF babies' growth
