Just a friendly and final reminder about the NMAP picnic on Tuesday at Wattle Park. We would love to see as many people as possible attend. We now have confirmed local media coverage and there will be an opportunity to discuss the issues with local politicians for the area.

Please support the Victorian launch of the National Maternity Action Plan (NMAP) and join us for the Launch celebration!  

Who: Anyone interested in NMAP�midwifery students, childbearing families, midwives, childbirth educators, etc. (babies & children most welcome)   

When: 24^th September, 2002

Where: Wattle Park, Riversdale Rd, Burwood 

               Melways Ref: 60, J3

Time: From 12.30pm onwards

BYO: Picnic hamper, rugs, chairs etc (there are sheltered areas, BBQs, adventure playground, and plenty of space)

Joy Johnston will give a brief overview of NMAP and answer your questions

Learn more about NMAP and how you can support the option of primary midwifery care for all women!

There will be local politicians present and media coverage of our celebration.

(Note: The press conference and formal launch of NMAP will take place earlier the same day)
