Subject: Re: [ozmidwifery] Choosing the
sex of your baby
Not sure if this has been discredited lately, but it was
published somewhere (haven't got the reference to hand - sorry) that having
sex before ovulation (at the first moment when cervical mucus ferns/is of
fertile consistency) and not after increases the chances of conceiving a
girl. This is because it makes it more likely that it will be an
x-carrying sperm (for a girl) that is available to fertilise the ova when it's
released, as the x-carrying sperm tends to have more stamina and a higher
survival rate over time than the y-carrying sperm (for a boy). This
requires good knowledge of fertility signs of course and remains luck of the
draw. Cheers Sheridan

Dear Ozmid. group I have had
an inquiry from a woman wanting information about doing whatever she can to
choose the sex or her next baby - she wants a girl. Anybody got any
references or ideas? I had a little bit of info for her, but thought
I'd throw it open to the group. Thanks in advance,
