Ah der!  Really should money be wasted on researching this type of topic?
 To me it is like spending money on investigating the obvious!  Surely there would be better research outcomes in seeing if  there is evidence to show that 'time saving' measures such as single layer repair for cs (that is so popular these days in and out in under 30 minutes!!) is actually putting the chances of rupture in a higher and unacceptable risk?  I mean really...........!!!
