Great suggestion, Jo.  I find that frustrating, too.

Also, when replying to a topic, could people try & erase all but the 
most recent/ relevant previous message (as Jo's shows below, here).  
When several people reply to one message & nothing is erased, they can 
get huge!  I know many people (including me) have download limits on 
their internet connections & every little bit adds up.
