I had a similar conversation with an ob when I was pregnant with my 1st child.  It had turned into an disagreement and I turned the tables on him and asked him his own rubella status.  He, who was in contact with pregnant women almost every single day, had no idea of his own rubella status!!!!!!!  He changed the subject when I suggested he should get his status checked!  I should have walked out of his office at that point never to return.   Jayne
