Mary, do you know if the same position will be offered next
year? I have had 9 months experience, and I am more than eager to have a
position such as this after adequate experience (as you know :) )
I have had my last shift in Melbourne today... I am now
officially unemployed!! Scary! :)

Watch this Saturday's West Australian Newspaper for an advertisement
re the Community Midwifery Program, Fremantle, Western Australia, position for
non Accredited Midwife. This is a training position for registered
midwives who have been registered /practiced for at least 16mths within the
last 3 yrs, at the starting date of Feb/March 2003. and who are
interested in becoming a homebirth midwife.(No ongoing employment guaranteed
after the 8 month placement.) This position will also be posted to the
Community Midwifery website : http://www.communitymidwifery.iinet.net.au
