Jan,   Thankyou so much for your wonderful mail, and yours too Rosemary.  I'm working in a backup capacity with another midwife in Adelaide at the moment, and we have 3 women due between now and mid Jan, one who had baby #1 three weeks early, one who has a feeling she'll go early with #1, and the other who is just going with the flow.  I've been worrying a bit about how things will pan out, but every midwife I've talked to has said that if you're meant to be there, you will, and that these things have a way of working themselves out.  Thanks for reinforcing that, it's wonderful to hear about the dedication, spirit and energy of other midwives out there, being truly with women.   Blessings for a peaceful New Year,   Tania
