I have seen a number of granulomas over the years in my Maternal & Child Health Work. One of the vessels is still active with blood supply causing a continued growth. I just put some silver nitrate on the granuloma and explain to the parents how to continue until it dissolves. It is important for them not to fear the black appearance that occurs when the silver nitrate is active. Successful each time without any problems later.
