Hi Rita, I'm a Bachelor of Midwifery student in Melbourne. I don't know a whole lot about the doula scene yet, but Denise Love is a doula, doula educator, & wonderful woman. She's based in Sydney, but doula students can do distance education- I can't find her web or email info, but a phone number is (02) 9399 5854.
In Melbourne, there is a doula w/ the College of Spiritual Midwifery- http://www.womenofspirit.asn.au/doulas.html There's heaps of info on doulas from a couple of sites in the US www.dona.org & www.cappa.net Hope that's helps, whish I could do more.
