Are you listening John???
No because the sound of financial benefits (like the US saying "of course we will buy your wheat! BULLS&T) will always ring louder!!!
I have heard that the Lord Mayor of Brisbane is pleading with his constitutes to return the "How to Spot a Terrorist" $15, 000, 000 booklet back to the commonwealth government.  I think it is a great idea, and as Downer is our 'local' (yeah right) I will certainly be sending it back with a note saying how $15,000,000 would be better off spent implementing NMAP !!!
I encourage others to do the same.

I am interested in reading the 'how to spot a terrorist' though; see how many ethnic groups they are going to offend....defamation guys!

Subject: A.B.C. Poll on war with Iraq

DEAR EVERYONE
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO VOTE ON THIS.  IF ANYBODY CAN MAKE
A DIFFERENCE TO THOSE THAT DO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION, IT IS THE MEDIA.
This is an ABC Poll, 2000 votes isn't going to move John Howard much but a
million  votes will.  Please take a second to complete this & pass it onto
your friends with a real urgency.  Please, there is not a lot we can do,
but
this is something we can do that will make a difference if
enough people yell loud enough!

Cast your vote and check out the results to date.

The question:

Do you believe there is a case for war against Iraq?
