I understood ECV at 39 weeks was not a good idea??!!?!!? too risky??? Is
that only because I have seen a few bad comes of ECV??
To quote "ECPC":
"ECV ..before term is not warranted. ECV at term .....substantially reduces the incidence of breech ...and of caesarean section."
It also says that data suggests that risks are greater before 37 weeks.
Certainly over the last 5 years in the UK, ECV is often routinely offered to women with breech - and it done at term.
